J&W Seafood is located in Deltaville, Virginia on the Chesapeake Bay. We have supplied retail grocery chains and food service for over 25 years.
J&W Seafood is owned & operated by the Wade Family. Since 1982 this family business has focused on quality and service. J&W is very proud of its stellar reputation for processing consistent quality Chesapeake Bay Seafood. J&W brand products are distributed throughout the U.S. to some of the most reputable retail and food service companies in the country.

Deltaville is a peninsula on the Chesapeake Bay. Norfolk, VA is 1 hour South of Deltaville, Baltimore is 2 hours to our North. We are HAACP certified and are regarded as a model processing facility by the Virginia Department of Shellfish Sanitation. We own and lease several hundred acres of shellfish beds in Virginia Rivers and are one of the largest soft shell processors on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
In 1984, we built our own facility for processing and produced both shell oysters and shucked oyster meat along with fresh picked crab meat and whole crabs. In 1995, we opened our second processing plant located on the Chesapeake Bay in Gwynns Island, Virginia. This facility contains our crab picking operation which consists of 40-50 personnel dedicated to hand picking crab meat and our outdoor soft shell facility that contains 120 pass through tanks. In 2000 we expanded our original facility (1984) equipped with our in house pasteurization facility and the expansion has given us the ability to produce value added products such as crab cakes, deviled crabs and other assorted foods.
